TNHS lauds SILHIG

In a remarkable display of unity and environmental consciousness, TNHS has come together to launch a clean-up drive project called SILHIG, aimed at transforming the community into a pristine and sustainable environment. With a collective goal of tackling pollution and preserving the natural beauty of their surroundings, SILHIG has become a shining example of community-led initiatives making a positive impact.
The clean-up drive commenced with an inspiring speech by the project’s proponent, Mrs. Marites A. Inolino, who emphasized the need for collective action to address the pressing environmental issues facing the school. She highlighted the adverse effects of pollution on the local ecosystem, wildlife, and overall quality of life.
The project kick-started with a series of awareness campaigns, spreading the message of environmental conservation through various means, such as classroom discussions and activities. The group focused on educating students about the detrimental effects of pollution on their health and overall well-being of the community.
Motivated by the overwhelming response and growing enthusiasm, SILHIG organizers organized a Classroom-based Cleanliness Competition. Each sections armed themselves with recycling bins, garbage bags, and brooms, demonstrating their commitment to restoring the cleanliness and beauty of the school.
SILHIG’s impact quickly gained momentum, attracting the attention of the whole TNHS community. Recognizing the value of the initiative, several organizations stepped forward to provide support in the form of financial aid, equipment, and additional resources. This collaboration led to more extensive clean-up efforts and the implementation of sustainable waste management practices.
As SILHIG continues to expand its reach, the organizers are determined to maintain the momentum and encourage more individuals to take part in creating a cleaner, greener Earth. Through their relentless dedication and community engagement, SILHIG serves as a shining example of how grassroots efforts can bring about significant positive change in the face of environmental challenges.
